Meet the Coach Nicole McDonald

East Brighton Vampires Netball Club Assistant Coach U15s and Coach Opens. SANDY Rep Lead U11s Coach & Coach for the Open Juniors.

Nicole took a renewed interest in coaching when her daughter, Sophia, commenced playing domestic netball 6 years ago. She has been working on her coaching and umpiring accreditation for the last 4 years, achieving her Intermediate Coach Accreditation in 2021 and is working towards a B grade umpire badge.

Nicole commenced coaching Rep 2020 working with our U11s and is continuing in 2021. Nicole is the lead coach for the U11s. Her enthusiasm and knowledge is a great foundation for the players. In 2021 she also became an assistant coach for the Opens working with Jo, continuing on to coach the Open Juniors team in Spring. We love her smile, her positivity and her view of the game, often giving great insight to the players and filling in at training in goals! Nicole loves seeing the U11s master their basics, which allows them to play their best netball.

Nicole’s Words of Wisdom: You are never too old to get back into something you love!
